Kris Sherek has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1990, Sherek worked as a Senior Buyer at Marshall Field's for over 13 years. Sherek then moved on to ShopNBC ValueVision Media, Inc. and served as a Divisional Merchandise Manager, responsible for the Fine Jewelry and Watch Division. After that, Sherek joined Target.com as a Senior Buyer, leading the strategic direction and merchandise strategy for the largest business on the website. In 2010, Sherek transitioned to Cisco, where they held two roles: Senior Strategy and Planning Manager for the Retail/Hospitality Sector and Senior Manager of Field and Partner Enablement. During their time at Cisco, Sherek worked on developing strategies to drive growth and provided training to field teams. In 2013, Sherek joined Ovative/Group as the Director of Merchandising, focusing on developing the consulting strategy and client relationships for omni-channel engagements. Finally, Sherek joined Newell Brands in 2014 as a National Account Manager, responsible for top-line revenue and profitability for the Newell Home Fragrance Division through various retail channels. They also led a team and developed go-to-market plans for multiple sub-brands.

Kris Sherek attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Design.
