Learning Acceleration Specialist at OVEC

Jennifer Roederer is an experienced educational leader with a robust background in instructional coaching and learning acceleration. Currently serving as a Learning Acceleration Specialist at the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative since July 2022, Jennifer facilitates networks aimed at reimagining intervention efforts following the disruptions in learning during 2020. Prior roles include Education Recovery Leader at the Kentucky Department of Education, where Jennifer supported Comprehensive Support and Improvement schools and emphasized data-driven decision making, and Assistant Principal at Los Angeles Unified School District, focusing on teacher support and school growth planning. Jennifer has also held positions as a Mathematics Instructional Coach and Teacher, with a strong emphasis on effective instruction and differentiation in mathematics. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, a Master’s degree in Education from Spalding University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Louisville.

The Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative (OVEC) is a consortium of 15 school districts serving over 155,000 students in north central Kentucky. Established in 1976, the cooperative provides a vehicle for conducting regional planning, development, and implementation of educational programs on a continuing basis. OVEC offers programs that serve member school districts, their student populations and families.
