Mike Schwartzentruber

Mike Schwartzentruber is the current Director of Finance for North America at OverActive Media. Mike has held this position for 2 years and 11 months. Prior to their current role, Mike was the Director of Finance and Operations for Qwalify for 2 years and 7 months. Before that, they worked as a Senior Associate in the Restructuring & Turnaround group at KPMG Canada for 5 years and 6 months. At KPMG, Mike was responsible for leading assurance engagements, interacting with clients on accounting issues, and mentoring staff on engagements.

Prior to their work in the corporate world, Mike was employed by EliteCrete Design, where they worked on decorative concrete projects. Mike also spent some time working in sales, first as a Sales Manager for Howies Hockey Tape, and then as a Traffic Works employee for the City of Oshawa. Mike has also worked in site maintenance for Ontario Power Generation and as an employee and lead hand for NNL Landscape.

Mike Schwartzentruber has a Bachelors of Management and Organization Studies from The University of Western Ontario, a High School diploma from McLaughlin Collegiate and Vocational Insitute, and they are a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA). Mike has also passed Level 1 of the CFA Exam.
