David Arbeláez Villamizar

David Arbeláez Villamizar has a range of experience in software development and analysis spanning over a decade. David began their career in 2011 as an ANALISTA FUNCIONAL at Cafam, before moving on to Servinte Carvajal Tecnología y Salud in 2012. At Servinte Carvajal, they worked as a coordinador de aplicaciones (Analista funcional), overseeing healthcare application development projects and utilizing UML and Scrum methodologies.

In 2015, David joined PrimeStone as an Ingeniero de producto - Analista de requerimientos, where they were responsible for defining and gathering requirements, designing use cases and user stories in English.

David then worked at Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe in 2016 as a GESTOR DE INFORMACIÓN CLÍNICA before transitioning to Socya in 2017, where they served as the INGENIERO DE SISTEMAS PROYECTO MINEROS. From 2020 to 2021, they joined BairesDev as a FULL STACK ENGINEER, and most recently, in 2021, they joined Overactive as a Full Stack Developer. In this role, they work with US clients on various projects involving financial systems, asset management, workflows, and utilizes technologies such as Azure functions, NodeJS, Express, CosmoDb, Jest, AWS, Angular, and React.

Throughout their career, David has gained experience in full-stack development, JavaScript languages, cloud databases, and various frameworks and tools for front-end and back-end development.

David Arbeláez Villamizar completed their bachelor's degree in Gerencia de proyectos informaticos from Universidad de Antioquia from 1999 to 2005. In 2008, they pursued a diplomado in Gestión de proyectos from Universidad de Medellín. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022. David also holds an EFSET ENGLISH CERTIFICATE 75/100 (C2 PROFICIENT) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) obtained in May 2020. Additionally, they completed a course on Introduction to R from DataCamp, although the specific date of completion is not provided.
