Miriam Rivera

Miriam Rivera has a diverse and extensive work history in the field of Human Resources. Miriam most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at Overair, where they provided HR leadership and solutions to support the company's business strategy. Prior to that, Miriam held the role of Director of Organizational Effectiveness at Systems Technology, Inc., where they delivered scalable HR programs and services to maximize business performance. Miriam also served as the Executive Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development at Bay Cities, where they established and implemented the organization's HR strategy. Miriam has experience as the President of Platinum HR Solutions, LLC and as the Group Director of Human Resources at CIRCOR Aerospace. Miriam began their career as the Vice President of Human Resources at Summa Industries, where they created and oversaw the HR function for the company. Overall, Miriam has a strong background in HR leadership and has successfully contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked with.

Miriam Rivera has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Design from Claremont Graduate University. Miriam also holds a degree in European Studies from the Graduate Institute of International Relations/European Studies, where they were a Rotary Scholar. In addition, Miriam has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University.

Miriam has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Miriam is a Certified Practitioner of the MBTI Step I & Step II Instruments, certified by The Myers & Briggs Foundation in October 2019. Miriam also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in June 2000. Furthermore, Miriam is a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certified by the Society for Human Resources Management - Senior Certified Professional, earned in February 2015.
