Melinda Sumurdy

Melinda Sumurdy is an experienced recruiting professional currently serving as the Director of Recruiting at Overhead Door Corporation, a nearly $1 billion manufacturer and distributor of integrated door and access solutions, since January 2012. Prior to this role, Melinda held positions including Manager of Corporate Recruiting at Overhead Door and Managing Director at Taylor Winfield. With a background in executive search and talent acquisition, Melinda has worked at several prominent firms such as Waveland International, DHR International, and Hyle Human Capital Partners. Melinda began a career in recruitment in the late 1990s with TMP Worldwide and has a foundational experience as a Business Development Consultant for the Government of Canada from 1981 to 1991. Melinda holds a degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
