Youngdeok Kang

Youngdeok Kang has extensive work experience in the field of clinical laboratory science. Youngdeok started their career as a Medical Laboratory Technician at The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2004 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Clinical Pathology Laboratories. In 2007, they joined Overlake Medical Center & Clinics as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and later became the Clinical Laboratory Scientist Chemistry Lead in 2018. Youngdeok continued working there until 2022.

Youngdeok also worked at St Francis Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist from 2008 to 2012. In 2014, they joined Seattle Children's as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are working at EvergreenHealth as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

Youngdeok Kang's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from The University of Texas Medical Branch. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from The University of Texas at Austin.

Youngdeok Kang has also obtained various certifications, including a Specialist in Chemistry (ASCP-SC) from ASCP BOC in April 2022, Clinical Laboratory Scientist: Hematology (CLS(M)) from the California Department of Public Health in May 2018, Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology from Epic in February 2014, and Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in October 2005.
