Pooja J.

Pooja J. serves as the Spokesperson and Press Secretary for the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation since September 2021, bringing extensive experience from prior roles, including USAID's Acting Spokesperson and Press Director and as a Spokesperson and Press Officer at the U.S. Department of State. Pooja also acted as a Special Advisor in the Department's Public Affairs Bureau as a Franklin Fellow. Previously, Pooja founded and led Ajoop Media Consulting, specializing in guerilla marketing strategies, and held legislative roles with the City and County of San Francisco, assisting in communication strategies for the Board of Supervisors and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Public Administration from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Gender Studies from Louisiana State University, and a certificate in Marketing from Georgetown University.
