Michael Adams is an experienced marine engineer currently serving as a First Assistant Engineer at Massachusetts Maritime Academy since July 2024. With a career spanning over a decade, Michael has held various engineer roles at notable companies including Overseas Shipholding Group and MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO). Expertise includes working with complex systems such as Hyundai Himsen engines, Rolls Royce thrusters, and Kongsberg operation management. Michael has gained significant hands-on experience on an Arctic class drill ship in Alaska, and has worked on numerous deep sea vessels, managing various engines including Sulzer and Caterpillar. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, earned from 2006 to 2011.
