Shane Akers

Shane Akers is a seasoned Network Engineer with extensive experience in network management and support, currently employed at OSG Ship Management since November 2006. Responsibilities include overseeing network environments to meet corporate requirements, monitoring hardware and software, managing helpdesk support personnel, and providing training for users. Shane previously held similar positions at Maritrans/OSG and Bayshore Technologies, where the focus was on migrating and supporting Microsoft server and workstation infrastructures for various businesses. Shane's educational background includes an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Tampa Technical Institute, earned between 1989 and 1991.
