Tim Nevius

Tim Nevius currently serves as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Athlete Advocacy at Overtime, where responsibilities include overseeing the negotiation of NIL deals and implementing scholarship programs for aspiring college athletes. As the founder and principal of Nevius Legal, Nevius has established a notable practice focused on advocating for college athlete rights. In addition to founding the College Athlete Advocacy Initiative, dedicated to combating inequality in college sports, Nevius has held key advisory positions with various organizations, including the National College Players Association. Nevius's prior experience includes significant roles at Winston & Strawn LLP, the NCAA, and DLA Piper US LLP, demonstrating a comprehensive background in sports law and athlete representation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School and a Doctor of Law from the University of Dayton, both complemented by a Bachelor of Arts from the same institution.
