Tina Brown is the CEO of Overtown Youth Center. Tina has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to their current position, they were the Accounting Manager for Sharpton Brunson and Company PA from January 2001 to January 2005. There, they were responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring capital expenditures, reconciling expenditures, preparing monthly financial reports, and performing financial analyses for the $1.8 billion Airport Expansion Project. Her primary responsibilities included maintaining, forecasting, and providing labor cost analysis to ensure projections were not exceeded; monitoring, reconciling, and analyzing construction and design budgets, change order allowances, and preparing budget changes based on project developments; providing various expense analysis to management; preparing monthly and yearly financial statements for Broward County Board of Commissioners; auditing contractor's pay applications for contract compliance; reconciling commitments and expenditures with Broward County's Finance Department; developing capital improvement budgets for new projects in coordination with Broward County; supervising accounting clerk and staff accountants; and implementing financial components and procedures of Prolog Cost Management System.

Tina Brown has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Savannah State University, as well as an MBA in Accounting from University of Phoenix.
