Karra Beach is an experienced arts manager with a proven track record in community engagement and event coordination. Currently serving as the Programming and Community Engagement Manager at Overture Center for the Arts since February 2010, Karra manages multiple community engagement initiatives, including the Tommy Awards, which honor excellence in high school musical theatre across Southern and Central Wisconsin with participation from over 80 schools. Previously, Karra held the role of Director and Opera in the Park Coordinator at Madison Opera from January 2007 to July 2014, where responsibilities included overseeing logistics for a major outdoor concert event attracting 12,000 attendees annually. Karra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre & Drama from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 2002.
