Daniel Behrendt has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Daniel started their career at Microsoft as the Director of Business Development, Strategy & M&A. Daniel then moved on to CJ ENM ENTERTAINMENT DIV. as the Corporate Vice President, Gaming, where they developed the US market entry strategy for Korea's largest ad-funded online gaming company. After that, they co-founded HiExpat.com before joining Samsung Electronics as the Senior Director of Corporate Development & Strategy. At Samsung, they led the implementation of creative partnerships and acquisitions to increase market share. Next, Behrendt worked at Marchex as the Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Business Development, followed by a role at Honeywell as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and M&A. At Honeywell, they were responsible for building partnerships and channel alliances to drive digital transformation. Their next role was at Affirm, where they served as the M&A & Head of Integrations Team. There, they led the acquisition integration planning activity and refined the integration process for various acquisitions. Currently, Behrendt is the Vice President of Finance & Operations at Overture Orthopaedics.

Daniel Behrendt has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Economies of Industrial Society from the University of California, Berkeley. Daniel also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD. In addition, Daniel has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, as well as a Certificate in Chinese Language & Law from the East China University of Political Science and Law.
