Darko Filipi

Darko Filipi currently serves as the Vice President of Space Systems at Overview Energy, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Darko held several notable positions, including Sr. Director of Advanced Development and Sr. Director of Systems Engineering at AST SpaceMobile, where significant contributions were made to the Blue Bird commercial constellation and operational communications satellites. Darko has a strong background in business development and systems engineering, having consulted for BizTek International and served as Director of Business Development at Adcole Maryland Aerospace. Earlier experiences include roles at ARES Corporation, Orbital Sciences Corporation, and internships that laid the foundation for a successful career in aerospace and engineering, including degrees in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and Physics from Michigan State University.
