Mark McKenna

Mark McKenna has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark is currently working as a Software Engineer at Benchling since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Overwatch Research in 2021. In 2017, Mark served as a PMC Member & Committer (Apache Brooklyn) at The Apache Software Foundation. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Oroson. Before this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudsoft Corporation from 2015 to 2017. Mark also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2015. Mark began their career at Intel Corporation as a Junior Software Engineer from 2010 to 2013, and later worked as a Software Engineer from 2013 to 2014. Prior to joining Intel, they gained practical experience as a Manufacturing Systems Development Intern at Intel Corporation in 2006.

Mark McKenna attended Ulster University from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a BEng in Engineering with Specialisms in Mechanical & Electronic. Mark then continued their education at Ulster University from 2007 to 2008, obtaining an Associate Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Finally, from 2008 to 2010, Mark completed their degree in BEng Electronic & Software Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Software.
