Melvin Hsieh

Melvin Hsieh is a Principal Engineer at Overworld since August 2024 and has extensive experience in software engineering across various companies. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Hidden Leaf Games, where Melvin contributed to the development of a website for browsing video game characters, as well as creating a browser-based quest hub for a web3 integrated platform at ARRIVANT. Melvin has worked with numerous technologies, including JavaScript, React, and NodeJS, and has a solid background in building single-page applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Melvin also served as a Full-Stack Engineer Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley Extension and has experience in regulatory and quality assurance from a prior role at Restoration Robotics, Inc. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from UC San Diego.
