Michel Vandamme

Michel Vandamme has a diverse range of work experience in design and user experience. Michel has worked as the Head of Product Design and User Experience at OVHcloud since 2019, where they lead the product design team and focuses on website and user personal space development. Michel also developed a design system for CMS industrialization. Prior to that, they worked as a UX & Global Design consultant at their own consultancy from 2019 to 2021. Michel has also worked as a lecturer in UX & Service Design at L'École de design Nantes Atlantique, and as the Director of Design and User Experience at Bayut.com.

Earlier in their career, Vandamme worked at Home Centre as the Head of Design and Corporate Sales, where they managed the design team and led the corporate sales business unit. Michel also served as the Head of Design and Development, overseeing the entire design process and strategy for the Home Centre brand.

Before joining Home Centre, Vandamme worked at Kingfisher plc as the Head of Product Design, where they led the design team and managed the workflow from idea to production. Michel was responsible for innovation management and implementing industrial constraints. Michel started their career as a designer at Castorama France.

Throughout their career, Vandamme has consistently shown expertise in product design, UX analysis, customer flow, and design strategy. Michel has also demonstrated leadership and management skills, leading teams and driving creativity through workshops and generative sessions.

Michel Vandamme has a Master's degree in Design from L'École de design Nantes Atlantique. Michel also holds a degree in 3D modeling and rendering (VFX and entertainment) from Rubika. In addition, Michel has an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Saint Vincent de Paul - Loos France and a French High School Diploma - Baccalauréat F12 Arts Appliqués from Saint Vincent de Paul - Loos FRANCE.
