Toshiya Nishi

Toshiya Nishi has a strong background in drug discovery and research, with experience in various areas including neuroscience, cardiovascular health, and inflammation. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Drug Discovery and Head of Epilepsy Research at Ovid Therapeutics, Toshiya previously held roles at Takeda as a Principal Scientist. With a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tokyo, Toshiya has made significant contributions to the field, including the invention of compounds and holding a leadership role in transforming drug discovery projects towards clinical development.
