Craig Thomas

Craig Thomas has extensive experience in land negotiation and business development within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as an Advisor for Land Negotiation at Ovintiv since April 2024, Craig previously held significant leadership roles, including Vice President of Land, Exploration and Business Development and Interim President at ORLEN Upstream Canada from February 2017 to April 2024. Additional positions include Manager and Supervisor of Land Negotiations at TAQA North Ltd., Senior Mineral Landman at ARC Resources Ltd., and Co-founder and VP of Land at Bellamont Exploration Ltd. Craig's early career includes roles at Espoir Exploration Ltd., Devon Canada, and Anderson Exploration Ltd. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary, completed in 1996.
