Izzet Arslan

Izzet Arslan is a seasoned professional in reservoir engineering and data analytics, currently serving as a Senior Data Analytics Engineer at Ovintiv since November 2021, focusing on AI/ML and advanced data analytics for reservoir characterization. Prior to this role, Izzet held positions at QRI as a Lead Data Scientist, specializing in AI/ML-driven technology for reservoir management and production optimization from August 2014 to October 2021, and at Maersk Oil as a Lead Field Development Geoscientist from June 2012 to August 2014. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Geoscientist at ADNOC Group, a Production & Development Geoscientist at TPAO, and a Research Scientist at Stanford University’s Stanford Center for Reservoir Forecasting. Izzet began the career as a Project Manager in Remote Sensing at Geosat. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Earth Sciences from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Ankara University.
