Meg A. Gentle

Meg A. Gentle was appointed to the Ovintiv Inc. Board of Directors in 2020. She brings to the board more than 20 years of industry experience across the commodity spectrum. Her expertise spans finance, economic and strategic planning, gas marketing and business development. Ms. Gentle served as president and chief executive officer of Tellurian Inc. and a member of its board of directors from 2016 through November 2020. She previously served as executive vice president-marketing at Cheniere Energy, Inc. While there, she also held numerous leadership positions including senior vice president-marketing; senior vice president and chief financial officer; and senior vice president-strategic planning & finance. Prior to Cheniere, Ms. Gentle conducted international business development and strategic planning for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and energy market analysis for Pace Global Energy Services.
