Scott Kehler

Scott Kehler is an experienced geologist specializing in geological operations and geosteering within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Advisor in Geological Operations at Ovintiv, Scott is focused on the Montney play across British Columbia and Alberta. Prior roles include Operations Geologist at Tangle Creek Energy Ltd. and Valeura Energy Inc., where Scott contributed to drilling multiple high-pressure, high-temperature wells and managed wellsite geological operations. With a background that spans over two decades, experience includes significant positions at Cenovus Energy, ConocoPhillips, and various companies, emphasizing operations geology and petrophysics in diverse settings such as Western Canada and the Middle East. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Calgary and has furthered education with studies in GIS at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
