Jay Chin

Jay Chin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jay currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at Grab, where they have been since November 2022. Prior to joining Grab, Jay worked as the Head of Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations at OVO (PT Visionet Internasional) from October 2019 onwards.

From April 2019 to February 2021, Jay served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Grab. Before that, they were a Principal Operations Engineer at OpenTable from December 2016 to April 2019.

(start and end dates unspecified, but between 2000 and 2002).

Jay Chin completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Multimedia University in the years 1999 to 2002. Later, they pursued an MPhil in Computer Science from The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2006. Jay also attended Chung Hwa High School, although the exact dates are not available. Additionally, Jay holds certifications from Amazon Web Services, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level, which they obtained in July 2016. The completion dates for their other certification are unknown.
