Jessica Watts is an Engineering Geoscientist at OWC since September 2022, following a role as a Graduate Geotechnical Analyst. Prior experience includes serving as a Play Worker at Gateshead Council, where the focus was on providing a safe environment for children, and working as a Promotional Representative at Envisage promoting various brands. Additionally, Jessica held positions as a Social Media Assistant at Groundwater Relief, where responsibilities included managing social media engagement and seeking funding, and as a Teaching Assistant at Gibside School, offering support to educators and students. Jessica contributed to flood management efforts as an Assistant with Hull City Council and has a background as a Professional Cyclist and Coach with StreetVelodromeUK. Jessica earned a Master’s degree in Geophysical Hazards from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from Newcastle University.
