Joseph Weppler

Joseph Weppler is an experienced communicator with a diverse background in emergency dispatch, journalism, and social media strategy. Currently serving as a Communicator at Owen Sound Police Service since February 2024, Joseph provides critical communication support in emergency situations. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Communications Specialist at Schooley Mitchell, where Joseph developed content and managed social media for over 325 consultants across North America. Other notable positions include Freelance Journalist at Write.On Communication Services International, Copyperson at Waterloo Region Record, and various roles in sports journalism and content creation. Joseph holds an Ontario College Diploma in Journalism from Conestoga College, obtained between 2014 and 2016.
