Leroy Besong

Leroy Besong, MS, is an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with a diverse background in engineering and management. Currently serving as an EHS Engineer at G&W Electric Co. since January 2019, Leroy has previously held roles including Quality & CI Engineer at Textron GSE, Procurement/Production Control Specialist at Dixie Chopper, and EHS Specialist in multiple organizations including Greenlee and Kautex Textron. With a Master's Degree in Environmental Safety & Occupational Health Engineering from The University of Findlay and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wilmington College, Leroy has developed and implemented innovative safety programs, conducted ergonomic assessments, and fostered a safety culture through training and employee engagement initiatives.
