Mel Sancrant

Mel Sancrant has extensive experience in technical leadership, currently serving as the Technical Inspection Leader at Owens Corning since February 1996, focusing on building codes and application instructions for residential roofing products, along with instructing at Roofing University. Prior experience includes a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps from March 1966 to December 1995, where Mel held the position of Company GySgt and led combat operations, demonstrating expertise in tactical operations and the welfare of Marines. Mel holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Chapman University and has completed training at the Zig Ziglar Corporation as well as HAAG Engineering's Residential Roofing Certified inspector program.
