Jacob Barnes

Jacob Barnes is an experienced professional in cloud security, currently serving as the Director of Cloud Security at Owkin since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as a Cloud Security Engineer at Flo Health Inc. from July 2021 to August 2023, where key contributions included implementing a zero trust solution and enhancing visibility for the business. Jacob's earlier experience includes Cloud Security Engineer roles at Cloudreach, focusing on security for various managed service customers across industries, and internships in software and firmware development at Keysight Technologies. An alumnus of Abertay University with a BSc (Hons) in Ethical Hacking, Jacob also gained experience as an IT Specialist at IBM, specializing in Microsoft Server Technologies and virtualization.
