David Gobeo

David Gobeo has a diverse work experience in the technology field. David started their career in the US Army, where they served for several years in various roles, including IT Manager and Information Security Specialist. During their military career, they led teams, managed IT projects, and ensured the security and efficiency of information systems.

After leaving the military, David worked at NCI Information Systems, Inc as a Server Administrator and Desktop Support Technician. David was responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting both classified and unclassified computing environments, and they significantly increased the infrastructure capabilities by installing and configuring numerous Windows Servers.

Following their time at NCI, David joined Assured Information Security (AIS) as a Deployment Engineer and Technical Trainer. David played a dual role in improving the client training program and facilitating the installation of a cross-domain access solution. David achieved this by developing distance learning technologies, conducting hands-on classes, and focusing on client education.

Currently, David is employed at Owl Cyber Defense as a Technical Account Manager. Their responsibilities in this role include managing client accounts and ensuring their technical needs are met.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, information security, client relations, and technical training. David has consistently sought to improve client relationships, minimize issues, and reduce costs.

David Gobeo has a strong educational background in computer science. David obtained an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Science from Central Texas College, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Empire State University, completing their studies in 2019.

Additionally, David has earned several certifications related to their field. David obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in August 2018. David also holds multiple certifications from Cisco, including Security Architecture for Account Managers, Cisco Collaboration Architecture Sales Essentials, Cisco Collaboration SaaS, and Introduction to Cisco Sales, all obtained in various months of 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, they possess CompTIA certifications, namely CompTIA Network+ obtained in April 2011 and CompTIA Security+ obtained in July 2012.
