John Percy

John Percy has extensive work experience in software engineering and computer systems analysis. John started their career as a Computer Systems Analyst at DDL OMNI Engineering in 1992 and worked there until 1996. John then joined EMC as a Senior Software Engineer in 1996 and remained there until 2018. In 2018, they joined Trident Systems as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are working at Owl Cyber Defense as a Senior Software Engineer, and they were recently promoted to the position of Principal Software Engineer in January 2022.

John Percy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Houghton University from 1988 to 1992. John then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals, Threat Modeling: Repudiation in Depth, Threat Modeling: Spoofing In Depth, Threat Modeling: Tampering in Depth, and Scrum Master. The certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in May 2023 and from Scrum Alliance in February 2015.
