Walker Funk

Walker Funk has a diverse work experience background. Walker started their career as a Construction Laborer at Boone Construction Company Inc. in December 2014 and worked there until May 2015. Walker then joined Dan'l Boone Inn Inc. in April 2013 as a Head Waiter and continued in that role until March 2019. In March 2019, Walker joined Trident Systems as a Software Engineer and worked until December 2020. From December 2020 to January 2023, they worked as a Software Engineer at Owl Cyber Defense. Currently, Walker holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Owl Cyber Defense.

Walker Funk obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, Walker earned an Associate of Arts - AA degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Additionally, Walker has obtained a certification in Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals from LinkedIn in June 2023.
