Lara Pocock has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Lara started their career as an Assistant Editor at European Bloodstock News, where they formatted and edited publications and assisted with advertising sales. Lara then moved on to become an Editor at ANZ Bloodstock News, where they were responsible for managing content production and advertising budgets.

In 2014, Lara became the Membership Manager at the British Equine Veterinary Association, where they led membership engagement and digital communications. Lara also played a role in organizing BEVA Congress, a prominent veterinary conference.

From 2013 to 2019, Lara worked as a Senior Editor for SIRECAM (EUROPE) LIMITED, handling freelance writing and editing projects. During this time, they contributed to various scripts, pitches, press releases, and website copy.

Lara's experience at the Royal Society of Chemistry involved working on the development and expansion of the Chemists' Community Fund as a Project Development Specialist. Lara collaborated with local networks to introduce wellbeing workshops and presented proposals to stakeholders.
