Varda Shalev

Varda Shalev is the Co-Founder and Medical Informatics Advisor at Owlytics Healthcare. Varda has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on data science and analytics.

Varda began their career as a founder and CEO of Kahn Sagol Maccabi research and innovation center, where they led the development of the first medical data science institute in Israel. Varda then worked as an independent practitioner for several years before joining BATM as a medical informatics advisor.

In their current role at Owlytics, they are responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve patient care and outcomes.

Varda Shalev's educational career consists of a fellowship in medical informatics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, an MPA in public health from Clark University, a family practice residency from Kaplan Hospital, a medical internship from Beilinson Medical Center, and a Doctor of Medicine - MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
