Alex Davidson

Alex Davidson is an experienced professional in sports performance, currently serving as the Vice President of Summer Sport and High Performance Advisor at Own The Podium since November 2016. Prior to this role, Davidson acted as the Interim Olympic Performance Manager for the Canadian Olympic Committee from April to November 2019. Experience also includes serving as the High Performance Manager for Wrestling Canada Lutte from September 2013 to October 2016 and as an Assistant Coach for both Men's and Women's Swimming at the University of Ottawa from September 2011 to August 2013. Additionally, coaching senior track athletes at GO Kingfish Swim Club was undertaken during the same timeframe. Academic qualifications include a Master of Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa (2011-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut (2007-2011).
