Ralf Haferkamp

Ralf Haferkamp has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. Theirfirst role was an IT Operations Internship with What's Up America Inc. in 1999. In 2000, they joined SUSE as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on research, development and maintenance of everything LDAP related in SLES. Ralf also became a Senior Software Specialist for Container Technologies and OpenStack, contributing bugfixes and improvements to various OpenStack projects upstream. In 2001, Ralf joined the OpenLDAP Project as an Engineering Team Member. Most recently, they joined ownCloud in 2021 as a Senior Backend Engineer.

Ralf Haferkamp obtained a Dipl. Inf. in Computer Science from Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven between 1996 and 2000. Ralf also holds the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation, which they obtained in October 2022.
