Michael Commisso, CFA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Michael currently holds the position of Director, Strategy & Finance (Ventures) at RBCx, where they have been employed since December 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Manager, Finance (Ventures) at RBCx from June 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining RBCx, Michael worked at energyX Solutions Inc. from July 2019 to June 2021 as part of the Operations and Strategy team. At energyX, they played a key role in making energy decisions easy for clients by empowering them with information about their homes.

Previously, Michael worked at Marret Asset Management Inc. from February 2018 to June 2019 as a Fixed Income Credit Investor. Michael'sfocus was on managing corporate credit strategies and achieving positive absolute returns while emphasizing risk management.

From May 2014 to January 2018, Michael worked at BCA Research as a Senior Analyst. Michael played a crucial role in providing independent investment research and forecasts for major asset classes and economies.

Michael started their career in 2013 as a Global Equity Derivatives Summer Analyst at National Bank of Canada. Michael then gained valuable experience as a Fixed Income Strategist and Fixed Income Analyst at Desautels Capital Management from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they served as a Fixed Income Summer Analyst at RBC Global Asset Management - Phillips, Hager & North in 2012.

Michael received their secondary education at Loyola High School in Montreal. In 2019, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
