Walter Hamilton has extensive work experience in various roles related to intelligence, security, and technology. Walter is currently employed at OWT Global LLC, where they serve as the Director of ISR Strategy and Growth. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Special Programs at the same company. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Director of Information Technology and Security at OWT Global LLC.
Before joining OWT Global LLC, Hamilton worked at the same company as a SIGINT/Technical SME from 2016 to 2020. Walter gained valuable experience in this role, contributing to the company's success in the field of signal intelligence.
Hamilton's earlier work experience includes serving in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) as an Advanced Collection Team Chief from 2011 to 2016. In this role, they undertook responsibilities such as reducing training fund expenditures, supervising technical training programs, certifying operators and instructors in multiple technical disciplines, and training Special Operations Forces in radio frequency theory and tactical operations.
Prior to their role in the 7th Special Forces Group, Hamilton served as a 1SG in HHC and C Co, 519th MI Bn, 525th BfSB from 2010 to 2011. Walter also held the position of Detachment Sergeant in HSC, 3/7 SFG(A) from 2008 to 2010.
Hamilton's career began in 1995, when they served as a Senior SIGINT Advisor in the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne). Walter then worked as an EW Voice Int Operator in Detachment Utah, 742nd Military Intelligence Battalion from 1997 to 2000. Subsequently, they served as an LLVI Squad Leader in A Co, 313th Military Intelligence Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division from 2000 to 2001. This was followed by roles as an SOT-A Observer Controller in the Special Operations Training Detachment from 2001 to 2003, and as an SOT-A Team Leader in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) from 2003 to 2008.
Throughout their career, Hamilton has demonstrated a strong background in intelligence, technology, and training, making significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.
Walter Hamilton attended Cochise College in 2007, where they studied Intelligence Operations. Walter did not obtain a degree in this field. Additionally, in January 2013, they obtained a certification as a Mode I Master Instructor from NGW-ITOS, and in May 2012, they obtained a certification as a Mode III Operator from the same institution.
