Rebecca Marsden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rebecca is currently the VP of Commercial Finance at Oxa, where they have been working since 2024. Prior to this role, they served as the VP of Risk and Insurance at Oxa from 2023 to 2024. Before joining Oxa, they worked at Apollo ibott 1971 as a Liability Underwriter from 2020 to 2023. From 2018 to 2020, Rebecca was a Credit and Political Risk Underwriter at Canopius Group. Rebecca also held the same role at AXA Africa Specialty Risks from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Rebecca worked as a Divisional Director at Willis Towers Watson from 2012 to 2016, and in various roles at Renaissance Capital, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs.
Rebecca Marsden attended Headington School from 1988 to 2002. Rebecca then went on to study at UCL from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree in Law. In 2009, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) at BPP Law School, specializing in Debt Finance, Equity Finance, and Private Acquisitions. Additionally, in 2005, they obtained FCA Approved certificates in Securities, Derivatives, and Financial Regulation from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
