Roy J. Schorsch

EVP at Oxbow

Roy J. Schorsch is the Executive Vice President of Oxbow Carbon LLC responsible for the calcining facilities, terminal operations, environmental compliance and health and safety. A native of California, Mr. Schorsch earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University and a Master’s degree in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

From 1983 to 2011, Mr. Schorsch held a variety of positions in the cement industry, spending the last twelve years at CEMEX. During Mr. Schorsch’s tenure at CEMEX, he served as Plant Manager, Vice President of Manufacturing, Executive Vice President – Technical, Executive Vice President – Logistics, and Regional President. He joined Oxbow in February 2012 as Vice President of Operations. In April 2013, Mr. Schorsch was named Senior Vice President of Operations and in June 2016, Executive Vice President of Oxbow Carbon LLC.
