Director Of Process Improvement at Oxbow

Sanjiv Dhanjal has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Sanjiv started their career in 1988 as a Project, Senior Process Engineer, and Manager at Fuel & Combustion Technology, where they focused on designing and managing industrial burners and related equipment for customers globally. Sanjiv then moved on to work at The University of British Columbia as a Research Assistant from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Sanjiv joined FCT Combustion Pty Ltd as the VP & Manager of Sales & Technical Support for North America. During their tenure, they sold industrial burners and provided technical support to clients. Sanjiv later became the VP and General Manager for North & South America, Service & Aftermarkets, developing sales strategies and maintaining customer relationships.

From 2008 to 2012, Sanjiv worked part-time as a Technical Advisor for George H Bodman, Inc.

In 2014, Sanjiv joined Oxbow as the Director of Project Engineering, contributing to market development and customer support. Sanjiv then became the Director of Process Improvement, where they designed and implemented a continuous improvement program, developed an in-house training initiative, and empowered employees to optimize work processes.

Throughout their career, Sanjiv has demonstrated expertise in process improvement, project management, sales, and technical support.

Sanjiv Dhanjal obtained a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey from the year 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued an M.A.Sc. degree in Chemical/Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their educational background, Sanjiv also holds several certifications. Sanjiv obtained a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from SBTI in August 2020. Sanjiv received a Lean Certification from Industrial Solutions - ISI in 2022. Moreover, they acquired a Project Management Certificate with Agile from Canvas Credentials (Badgr) in June 2023 and completed the POPMA-Essentials of Project Management certification from the same institution in March 2023.
