Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan began their career as an Agri Relationship Manager at ANZ in 2006. In 2011, they became the Owner of M J Ryan Ltd, a pasture-based livestock farming business. Matt then joined Banks Peninsula Wool Growers Ltd as a Director in 2014. In 2015, they became a Senior Rural Manager at Rabobank, responsible for large-scale irrigation funding and business origination. In 2016, they returned to ANZ as a Senior Relationship Manager - Agri Waikato NZ. Most recently, in 2020, they became Head of Farmer Relationships at Oxbury Bank Plc, where they lead the frontline sales & business origination team nationally in the UK.

Matt Ryan received a B.Com(Agri Mgmt) in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations from Lincoln University (NZ) between 2002 and 2005. Matt also received a Dip Farm Mgmt from Lincoln University (NZ) between 2002 and 2003. Prior to this, they attended St Joseph's College, Ipswich until 1999.
