Sharon Nandra

Sharon Nandra has a diverse background in design, focusing on UX/UI design and product design. Sharon is currently employed as a Product Designer at Oxehealth since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Abbott as a UX/UI Designer, where they were involved in designing products for healthcare workers in developing countries to test HIV. Sharon carried out research, including competitor and peer research, and created designs based on new research and technical specifications. Sharon worked at Abbott from May 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Abbott, Sharon worked as a Digital Designer at GETTHELABEL.COM LIMITED from September 2020 to May 2021, creating designs for websites, banners, and email templates. Sharon collaborated closely with the marketing team to ensure effective brand communication. Sharon also worked as a UX Designer at FenaPay from April 2020 to September 2020, where they gathered business requirements, created wireframes and prototypes, and communicated their findings to various team members and stakeholders.

Sharon has also gained experience as a Freelance UX Designer at ZAYNAAB LTD from June 2019 to April 2020, where they conducted user research and interviews to inform design decisions. Previously, they worked as a Test Engineer at NewVoiceMedia from June 2018 to June 2019, identifying product constraints and finding solutions for web applications. Sharon used sitemaps, user flow diagrams, and wireframes to inform design decisions.

Earlier in their career, Sharon worked as a Quality Assurance Tester at Webtrends from September 2016 to June 2018. Sharon contributed to A/B and multivariate testing and provided guidance on design implementation. Sharon also worked as a Web Designer at Chauntry from October 2012 to September 2016, developing user-friendly interfaces for online booking systems for airports.

Sharon's early career includes roles as a Web Designer at Moorhouse Insurance from December 2010 to October 2012 and at GAME Ltd from July 2008 to December 2010.

Sharon Nandra's education history begins with their attendance at Slough Grammar School from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued their A-Levels at Slough Grammar School Sixth Form from 2001 to 2003. Sharon then enrolled at the University of Hertfordshire, where they earned their BSc Honours in Multimedia Technology from 2003 to 2006.

In recent years, Sharon has focused on expanding their knowledge and skills through online certifications. In 2019, they completed a UI/UX Design Specialisation program as well as a Graphic Design Specialisation program, both offered by Coursera. Additionally, they obtained several other certifications from Coursera, including courses on web design, user interface design, and graphic design.
