Ellie O'Brien

As a Director in the search firm, Ellie helps build influential leadership teams for Oxeon’s ever-expanding portfolio of innovative healthcare technology and service companies. She currently leads a broad set of C-Suite searches partnering with investment leaders including Bessemer Venture Partners, Warburg Pincus, Frazier Healthcare Partners and innovative organizations including Landmark Health, Sound Physicians, Equality Health, Intelligent Medical Objects, among many others. As a liberal arts graduate, Ellie did not plan to work in healthcare but subscribes wholeheartedly to Oxeon’s philosophy that great people make great companies. She considers herself lucky to work alongside some of the most intelligent minds and businesses seeking to make positive difference in healthcare in this country.

Beyond her role in search, Ellie is a co-founder of Oxeon’s Seattle office and is focused on expanding the firm’s presence on the West Coast. She is a contributor to the firm’s board diversity initiatives and leads a female-focused networking group for healthcare leaders in Seattle. Putting her liberal arts education to work, Ellie also helps lead the firm’s internal marketing initiatives including the FWIW newsletter and podcast, “A Healthy Dose.” Check it out here!

Ellie is thrilled to have returned to her hometown of Seattle after many years in Oxeon’s HQ in New York City. When not in the (growing) office, Ellie can be found re-exploring the city that has doubled (or tripled) in size since she left.
