Andrew Mell is a seasoned economist and technical advisor with extensive experience in economic analysis and academic research. Currently serving as a Technical Advisor at Oxera Consulting LLP since January 2020, Andrew has previously contributed to Compass Lexecon as an Economist, providing economic analysis for competition inquiries. Andrew's academic roles include the Andrew Glyn Memorial Career Development Fellow in Economics at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford, and Stipendiary Lecturer in Microeconomics at University College, University of Oxford. Andrew's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from Nuffield College and an MPhil in Economics, both from the University of Oxford. Andrew's early career featured roles at Frontier Economics as an Analyst and participation in the local Yes to Fairer Votes campaign in Oxfordshire as Press Officer, advocating for electoral reform.
