Tara Gingerich

Tara Gingerich is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in humanitarian programs and human rights. Presently serving as the Associate Director of Humanitarian Programs at Oxfam America since August 2008, Tara has also held roles such as Senior Humanitarian Researcher and Consultant/Researcher. Concurrently, Tara is a Fellow at Harvard Divinity School, focusing on religious literacy in the humanitarian sector. Prior experience includes independent consultancy in human rights and humanitarian policy, and leadership positions at Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and Harvard School of Public Health. Tara's early career includes roles in legal analysis and program management with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the National Democratic Institute. Academic credentials include a JD and MA from American University, as well as a BA in German Studies and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
