Simone Bares

Simone Bares currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at Oxfam Deutschland, focusing on the strategic development of IT, HR, and Finance departments to enable business transformation and enhance process efficiency. Previously, Simone led the German entity of FOUR PAWS as Director, managing various departments including Communications, Fundraising, Programs, Finance and Administration, and HR. Prior experiences include roles as Managing Director at Visionary CSR Ltd., where a holistic approach to CSR/ESG was developed, and senior positions at GE and ALSTOM in community investment, diversity and inclusion, and policy development. Simone has a Master's degree in Culture Studies, Theatre Management, English Literature, and History from Leipzig University.
