Dana Abed

Dana Abed is an accomplished professional specializing in gender rights and justice, currently serving as the World Wide Campaign Strategist at Oxfam since June 2022. In this role, Dana designs and executes global campaigns aimed at dismantling systems of oppression and advancing feminist movements. Previously, Dana held the position of Influencing Lead at Oxfam in Lebanon, where responsibility included managing media, policy, and advocacy efforts. Dana's experience also includes roles as a Research and Policy Advisor at Besme International Group for Humanitarian Assistance, Fundraising Officer at The Campaign For Youth Justice, and a Communication and Research Fellow at the American University of Beirut. Dana holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Policy from the American University of Beirut, an Executive Education Course in Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the American University of Beirut.
