Robert Pettinger is an experienced service transition and improvement manager at Oxfam since June 2016. Prior to this role, Robert served as a programme manager and deputy head at the British Embassy in Beijing from November 2012 to November 2015, where responsibilities included setting strategy and managing project implementations under the Prosperity SPF fund. Robert also worked briefly as a transcription editor at VanceInfo in 2012 and as a PR officer for BRICKS The Great Wall Appeal from September 2011 to July 2012. Robert holds a Joint Honours degree in Chinese and Philosophy, as well as East Asian Studies from the University of Leeds, completed in 2011.
