Alejo Zacarias

Alejo Zacarias is a skilled research professional with a solid background in microbiology and laboratory techniques. Currently serving as a Research Associate II at Oxford Biomedica since March 2022, prior experience includes a Research Associate I position at Homology Medicines, Inc., and a Research Assistant role at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where research focused on the suppression of a gain-of-function transcription factor in multi-drug resistant fungi. Alejo has utilized various laboratory techniques such as endophyte isolation, metabolite isolation, and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry.
